From the Archives: Joe-Joe the Dog-Faced Bitch Boy

Well, season 4 is finally underway. And after 2 episodes, I can honestly say it feels as if the show is getting back to its roots. The re-addition of Billy Walsh and all the calamity which ensues due to his presence has brought back an air of the essence which made Entourage attract our attention to begin with. This new project of Medellin has a familiar feeling to it, much like Queens Boulevard. The writers have really got this season rolling on the right foot.

In honor of the commencement of season 4, From the Archives brings you a classic Ari-moment from season 1. This is classic Ari, quick, pithy, and sharp as a tack. Bottom line: do NOT mess with Mr. Gold's clientele.

Looking forward to next weekend and more drama (no pun intended) with the boys from Queens. Also, stay tuned this weekend for what may be the ultimate collection of Ari Gold's best moments from the show to date, compliments of our blog contributor, Sess. Until then, I'll leave you in suspense. And, as always...

... stay classy.

BUPL Episode 43: Welcome to the Jungle

Well, the opening episode for Season 4 was a far different take then any Entourage Junkie has witenessed so far. However though this season looks to be very promising and should indeed spice up Sunday nights throughout the summer.

We have lacked this week on the blog (thats what happens with summer classes, internships and much work on the Penske file (look it up on a Seinfeld Website)), but we are happy to announce the first BUPL for Season 4...and what better way to do it then give it to the King of the best Entourage Lines himself, Mr. Ari Gold.

The scene where the line takes place, comes when the fellas finally get Billy to think about the ending of Medellin. However, Billy says he is unable to come up with the ending himself and needs E to hire Stephen Gagen to come on and write the movie. The scenes leading up to E announcing the hire, shows Ari continuing to doubt the movie and the boys scrambling to find the insane amount of money required to bring him to Mexico.

When E announces to the film's production crew that he has secured Gagen to come to Mexico, the next scene cuts to Ari getting into the elevator in his office--someone shouts to him the news of the hire and he sticks his head out of the elevator as the door is closing with a stunned and priceless look on his face and shouts..."THEY GOT STEPHEN FUCKING GAGEN?"

Funny enough here for the authors of this blog to give Season 1, Week 4 props to Ari Gold.

Enough of this Penske and Class shit....lets get back to Living the Dream!!!!

BUPL SEASON 4 STANDINGS:

Ari: 1
Drama: 0
Turtle: 0
E: 0
Vince: 0

From the Archives: Welcome to the Neighborhood!

Happy Friday everyone. I know it is for me, at least. I hope all of you out there enjoy your weekend as well.

As we approach the season four premier this weekend, I thought this would be a great time to bring to you another edition of From the Archives, a collection of scenes from the show which I have deemed some of my most memorable. And this week's is a doosey.

A throw back from season two, this clip shows the guys moving into their first house together. Their new next door neighbor shows up and wants to welcome them to the neighborhood; along with some advice on respecting his daughters...

Have a great weekend guys.

Season 4 Premier

Now that the writers at Entourage have wrapped up season 3.5 in rousing fashion, it is seemingly time to turn our attention to the grandiose affair which will be the season 4 premier. And lucky for you, I have it in good confidence that this show will be quite different...

An insider source, which only the likes of The Ocho has access to, has informed me that the season for premier, entitled "Welcome to the Jungle," is going to be shot much differently; unlike any episode we have seen thus far in the series run. While tips like this are always lacking some degree of certainty, I believe we can look forward to this episode's format being shot in documentary form, fully equipped with commentary from Ari, to boot.

As is normally the case on Entourage, the newest projects are shot during the downtime between seasons. Here, however, it seems as though the writers are going to give Entourage faithfuls an opportunity to take a peek at the going-ons of the shooting of Medellin. Shot in documentary form, the show will depict some of the commotion and theatre that takes place during production, as well as some of the guy's behind the scene's shenanigans. Needless to say, I believe this premier episode a week from this Sunday should proffer a few new angles to the show, while maintaining the classic Entourage appeal we all love.

Until next time, best wishes from...

The Ocho.

BUPL: Episode 42 - Adios Amigos

Well after much debate, distractions from our day jobs, and an addition of a new judge...we are finally ready to announce this week's BUPL. Now again this is late, but in addition to life's daily obstacles, the reason that this is also late is because this is arguably one of the best episodes in terms of lines maybe in Entourage history.

After much debate, we are happy to announce that this week's BUPL goes to old fan favorite Billy Walsh. Vince and E go to the the porno house to talk to Wash about Medallin. During one of their dialogs, Walsh is pumped to see the boys and explains his current project by saying....
"Wally Balls!? It's my alias..catchy, ain't it? Billy Walsh is gonna bring the 1970's type class back to porn! And, the wide bush!

If this is any indication on how Season 4 is going to go, we are in for a real trip!

Final Standings for Season 3.5:

Billy Walsh: 1
E: 1
Turtle: 1
Nikko: 1
Drama: 0
Vince: 0
Ari: 0

A four way tie...and not one winner for Ari. Shit.

From the Archives: Drama Goes Nicholson on Point Break's Car

As the first of many clips that I plan to bring to you over the near and distant future here at TUEB, I present to you one of Drama's more memorable moments on the show. After being seemingly snuffed at an audition earlier that day, Johnny's a little on edge. Needless to say, "Point Break" picked the wrong out of work actor to mess with on the PCH. The following melee ensues.

On a different note, I would like to point out that, as a fan, I am pretty excited with the direction that Marky Marc and the crew of Entourage has decided to take here for the upcoming new season, starting a week from this Sunday; bringing back Walsh and the selling of the house, in addition to Drama finally getting some credible work has taken the show in a new direction for the moment. I think that this season upcoming for the summer should prove to be extremely entertaining.

That's it for me... for now. Expect some new stuff and of course, "From the Archives" every week, only from The Ocho.

Farewell Season 3.5; Episode 42: Adios Amigos

We'll start in the words of Chris "Mad Dog" Russo...."GOOOOOOD AFTERNOON EVERYBODY!!!!" and the reason that I am using this exciting energy is because last night was indeed one of the best episodes of Entourage I have ever seen, and was truly an exciting way to go out and conclude Season 3.5. Also a gift from God, if you have been reading earlier posts, is that after a harmles By-week coming up, we go full fledge into Season 4, which looks like a promising summer of true entertainment by my Long Island Brothers and their new Spanish "friends."

It was very sad to see the boys packing up their house, (and almost as sad to see that Vince didn't follow through with Nikko's proposition...I guess he was upset that he was invited to play billards with the boys)...anyways back to the house...I think has been the best one they have lived in yet...but even more entertaining to watch them establish their new residences...I got a big kick out of Sloan telling E that his jersey would not fit in her apartment...it looks like however, that she may be making her exit on the show...another good looking girl lost to something Billy Walsh would call "Final Cut."

Johnny Drama showcased his personal best, and what I think a Season High for him, by showcasing great negoiation skills and putting forth what should have easily won the BPL (an another blog that will stay unnamed) with his line "1.5 million" sparking his love for the Viking Kitchen.

Perhaps the biggest kick of the show went down at Billy's filming when the boys were waiting for Walsh's decision on Medallin and a small naked midget was running around...classic!

It will be very interesting to see what turns out to be the BUPL for Week 42, as there were many moments and laughs from the show that defintely deserve review for the weekly award...along with some of the funniest lines of the season...I look forward to checking out Entoruage "Encore" Tuesday night at 11pm....so I can really watch the episode without having to worry about what is going on in the Yankee Game.

Take another 13 days off...but don't stray too far....the making of Medallin and the future of Johnny's show, along wth E's future as a producer and Turtle's daily happenings....should make for an excellent summer to aid us in keeping to "Live the Dream."

We await for the BUPL to be posted tomorrow p.m.
