BUPL Episode 50: "Gary's Desk"

Another classic Entourage Episode in this edition as our story line takes us through E gaining some independance and stability of his work (in his own mind) with some crappy office space, Vince trying to pay $50G for a desk, Gary Busey enacting his fantasies on Drama (with some unusual painting) and Ari getting caught up in a scuffle between twin brothers (with an issue that you would probably only find on Spice or some adult video store). Excellent cameos in this episode from Peter Jackson, Mary J. Blige and Busey! Maybe all of this does not top Bunny Sex, which I think might be in the top 3 episodes of Entourage ever!

The lines of the episode were good but one particularly sent us over the edge, while another one tickled our fancies. As Ari is trying to diffuse the situation between the two twin brothers (one of which has just come off a nice "go-around" with the others wife), Ari is in a state of shock and disbelief of what he has just been told. As he is processing this...and as he continues to have trouble making sense of it, he openly states
"I'm just saying... If I were to cheat on my wife it would be with like, a busty blonde, or an Asian with pointy nipples, thats all."
BOOM! Totally outstanding...another prize for Ari (shocker folks)...totally worth this week's BUPL.
BUT...not soo fast, in a glitter delight to The Ocho, I am also down to give out an Honorable Mention BUPL for this week....and what do you know...it all has to do with the same subject....(only on Entourage does this kind of scenario play out...or on the above mentioned outlets). When Ari first learns of Jim's desire not to work with brother anymore he can't understand it and states: "Jeter and ARod don't like each other and they let their dicks fly in the same locker room." FREAKING Hilarious.

Until next Time, LTD!

BUPL Episode 49: The Day Fu*kers

Well, I can say with great certainty that this weeks episode was the absolute best thus far in terms of BUPL's. With no further development in the Medellin plot line, the guys embark on a bet as to who can get laid first by the end of the day: Turtle or E. Hilarity ensues.

The lines this week really were dominated by Ari and Drama, who was the main instigator behind the bet between himself and Vince. After narrowing down the plethora of quips of these two, I could not in good conscience leave out the runners up without due credit. So this week, due to the large volume of lines, we here at TUEB are going to do something a little different: the top 3 quotes, with 1st place being the winner.

Coming in at number 3 is Johnny Drama. After the initial proposition for the bet is announced, the guys debate E's situation and ability to have "unemotional sex." After some resistance from E, Drama barks back "Don't be mad at us, E. It's not our fault you were born without the sport-fucking gene!"

Well, to be honest, Drama has a point. E tends to be the more emotionally clingy one of the group. Well played Drama.

Coming in at number 2 is again, Johnny Drama. Later in the same conversation, E tells Drama that searching out a girl just to bang for a bet is mean. Johnny responds by telling E that "Mean is making Jess Mancini ride her bike home after I ass-fucked her!"

HAHA. If not for an all-time great at number one from our favorite talent-agent, this is a BUPL winner any week of the season. Poor Jess...

And, at number 1, is Ari Gold. Folks, I nearly wet myself over this one. No lie. Here's how it goes...

As Ari and "Mrs. Ari" finally come to the realization that their son is not getting into any private schools in the area, and that public school just does not suit their needs, Ari decides to contact his "special friend" regarding the issue (who turns out to be a private eye hired to dig up dirt on the Briar Country Day-School's head master). After an incredulous look from the Mrs., Ari responds by telling her "Don’t worry baby. I’m not gonna get a ‘hoo-hoo’!” and makes a provocative gesture with his hand and mouth. You get the idea...

For myself, the facial expression and tone that he uses to get across this line, in conjunction with the Mrs.' reaction, makes it classic.

While there has been much ado about Medellin and Billy Walsh so far this season, it was refreshing and entertaining to have an episode where the guys just made you laugh and be entertained. Kudos to the Entourage staff, and keep it up.

Until next time, stay classy.

BUPL Episode 48: "The Weho Ho"

Well dear fellow Entourage die hards, it seems that the lines of the show are heating up as each week passes...and how appropiate being that we are entering the dog days of summer...a time usually marked by intense heat and some sort of interesting nature.....

And it was no different in this Episode of Entourage as once again there were many scenes and plots from which to pick up this week's BUPL from.

However, judges felt that this week was very Billy Walsh dominated and not just because he could potentially be becomming a client of Ari...but just because he brings soo much mood whenever he delivers his scripted dialogue....

Billy Walsh takes the cake for this weeks BUPL very early in the show when he meets with Vince and E at Ari's office. Ari is trying to bring the tripod together for Vince's new project and of course needs to get the "Suit" err....E on board....E wanting Billy to apologize for accusing him of stealing the Medellin trailer is still unsure of Billy's motives and to reassure him that he didn't think E stole the trailer after texting him death messages at 4am, he states:

"Yea then at 5am my editor called and told me he got pissed at this girl last week and put a video of him giving her a facial on cumfiesta.com--she got back at him with my trailor--our trailer."

Words cannot describe the laughter when we first saw this.

Until next time for Episode 49...Keep LTD'in it.

From The Archives: Medellin

Per the recently leaked trailer of Medellin onto http://www.youtube.com/, Ocho brings to you the full length trailer for Vinnie's upcoming feature film about the rise and fall of one Pablo Escobar. Enjoy.

BUPL Episode 47: The Dream Team

Well, yet another great episode. Kind of getting repetitious, but lets face it, they writers at Entourage are doing a great job at keeping us viewers on our toes and guessing at every turn. And yet again, Mr. Gold gives us not only another gem of wisdom, but also this weeks BUPL.

With Medellin getting into the Cannes Film Festival, ambivalence seems to be circling the film; is it really this good or overrated? No one really seems to give the audience a straight answer here, which is seemingly part of the beauty of this season thus far. Not every movie that an actor makes is a great one; Vinnie is no exception. However, Ari has found a new script, Lost In The Clouds, which is a perfect fit for the guys, as well as on the fast track to production. Having heard of the news, Vinnie asks Ari whether this is good news. Ari responds with this weeks BUPL by telling Vinnie that "No, this is not good news. Good news is when your wife agrees to eat box for your birthday. This is great news."

Enough said.

Until next week, stay classy.

From the Archives: Men at Work - The Land Down Under!

Greetings to my fellow Entourage enthusiasts. After a brief sabbatical for some bally-hoo at: Fire Island, we're back and running with more Entourage devotion. This week's From the Archives features a throwback to the Boys' first encounter with the Sundance Film Festival, where Ari utters one of my favorite BPL's of all time: a great reference to our favorite actor from Gladiator and some marsupials from down under. Enjoy.

Cheers,

BUPL Episode 46: Sorry, Harvey

OK OK, vacation got the best of the blog and as a result we are a little backed up on the BUPL. But hey, its definitely no reason not to post it at all…especially when it was flat out hilarious. The winner of the Episode 46 BUPL, also takes the lead in the season 4 standings.

As they are driving home from the “Mrs. Best Friend’s Dinner Engagement (as well-fully stated by Lloyd),” Ari asks Mrs. Ari to reach back and grab his briefcase so that she can start reading M. Night Shyamalan’s script to him. It is at this point that Mrs. Ari declares the briefcase is missing, which leads to further investigation of the car…and finds a bag of interesting sex toys in the trunk. Ari then declares that the car is not his and that the valet must have given him the wrong one. The couple’s heated exchange continues and Ari’s last closing line to his wife is “Why would I buy a black cock?!”

We were wondering the same…but will settle for awarding BUPL honors instead.

Until next week-LTD.

Episode 45: Malibooty

Well my friends, last weeks Episode of Entourage really brought a couple of twists in the plot that really gives the show the spunk that everyone enjoys. E challenging Vinny and every protocol in the movie industry, Vince getting girls at traffic lights and then picking up 100G's on soccer (what a life!) and then Turttle and Drama getting with some MILF's...well sorta....and then the ultimate wingman plot that turns into a swap that benefits.....the wingman!

And that is where the BUPL comes into play for Episode 45. After Turtle flips out on Drama for making him continue to go along with the "double date," Drama begs for his cooperation and tries to spin things with a little marketing pitch. Turtle questions the age of the ladies after meeting them, obviously not happy with "his girl" and Drama responds:

"Don't be an ageist Turtle. Besides, rumor has it that your girl gives the best rim job in LA. Trust me, you play your cards right and by 4pm you'll be sitting on her face like a bidday."

Ok its like 3 lines.....but just totally a classic BUPL. So far we have a 3 way tie...things are heating up! Tonight's episode with Harvey should be another one for some good blog writing next week.

Until Then, LTD-

Want to Dress Like your Entourage Boys?

As I was reading the July 2007 edition of GQ magazine (yes the one with Jessica Biel on the cover), I came across something that I knew immediately was Blog material. A NEW LINE OF ENTOURAGE CLOTHING....along with some pretty nice pics of the cast...including Mrs. Ari.

It appears that the boys of Entourage, along with GQ magazine and the team from AG, came together to celebrate the launch of the new ‘AG for Entourage’ collection at the AG boutique on trendy Robertson Boulevard! Guests got to mingle with the cast (including Adrian Grenier, Kevin Dillon, Kevin Connolly, Jerry Ferrarra, Jeremy Piven and more) and walked away with a fully stocked gift bag!

The line is interesting and totally fits the style of dress for the show...OK maybe not Turtle...I didn't see any Knicks jerseys or Yankees hats.

Check it out! for yourself!

BUPL Episode 44: The First Cut is The Deepest

Folks...Welcome back to Entourage Season 4--A season that is reaching down, touching and expanding on the roots that have made it what it is today. The boys of TUEB had many lines to choose from in the Episode that welcomes home Vince from Central America, Showcases Drama's new maison, Features Billy's girlfriend Kat in cute pink undies, Ari Gold the ever powerful, and gives a glimpse of the up and coming Medellin (and all its associated problems).

However, in all of the nominees for this week for the BUPL--only one was consistent with all the fellas, and we'll give props to Steve-o for suggesting it first. This weeks winner goes to Billy Walsh, who is now enjoying an expanded role on the season.

Vince and E show up at Walsh's factory, where he is putting together the film and getting some head (apparently), and get the tour, in wait of what they think will be their first look at Medellin. E is amazed that Billy has all of the pieces of film hanging from lines (the old fashioned way of production) and being the Big (E)xecutive Producer that he is, questions Billy's motives. Billy responds to E by saying: "Why fuck a women with a vibrator when you got a dick, right Suit?"

Even though E said he wasn't sure what that means--and isn't really standard language on LI or the ALB.......or NJ........it's good enough to take home this week's BUPL honors.

From the Archives: Joe-Joe the Dog-Faced Bitch Boy

Well, season 4 is finally underway. And after 2 episodes, I can honestly say it feels as if the show is getting back to its roots. The re-addition of Billy Walsh and all the calamity which ensues due to his presence has brought back an air of the essence which made Entourage attract our attention to begin with. This new project of Medellin has a familiar feeling to it, much like Queens Boulevard. The writers have really got this season rolling on the right foot.

In honor of the commencement of season 4, From the Archives brings you a classic Ari-moment from season 1. This is classic Ari, quick, pithy, and sharp as a tack. Bottom line: do NOT mess with Mr. Gold's clientele.

Looking forward to next weekend and more drama (no pun intended) with the boys from Queens. Also, stay tuned this weekend for what may be the ultimate collection of Ari Gold's best moments from the show to date, compliments of our blog contributor, Sess. Until then, I'll leave you in suspense. And, as always...

... stay classy.

BUPL Episode 43: Welcome to the Jungle

Well, the opening episode for Season 4 was a far different take then any Entourage Junkie has witenessed so far. However though this season looks to be very promising and should indeed spice up Sunday nights throughout the summer.

We have lacked this week on the blog (thats what happens with summer classes, internships and much work on the Penske file (look it up on a Seinfeld Website)), but we are happy to announce the first BUPL for Season 4...and what better way to do it then give it to the King of the best Entourage Lines himself, Mr. Ari Gold.

The scene where the line takes place, comes when the fellas finally get Billy to think about the ending of Medellin. However, Billy says he is unable to come up with the ending himself and needs E to hire Stephen Gagen to come on and write the movie. The scenes leading up to E announcing the hire, shows Ari continuing to doubt the movie and the boys scrambling to find the insane amount of money required to bring him to Mexico.

When E announces to the film's production crew that he has secured Gagen to come to Mexico, the next scene cuts to Ari getting into the elevator in his office--someone shouts to him the news of the hire and he sticks his head out of the elevator as the door is closing with a stunned and priceless look on his face and shouts..."THEY GOT STEPHEN FUCKING GAGEN?"

Funny enough here for the authors of this blog to give Season 1, Week 4 props to Ari Gold.

Enough of this Penske and Class shit....lets get back to Living the Dream!!!!

From the Archives: Welcome to the Neighborhood!

Happy Friday everyone. I know it is for me, at least. I hope all of you out there enjoy your weekend as well.

As we approach the season four premier this weekend, I thought this would be a great time to bring to you another edition of From the Archives, a collection of scenes from the show which I have deemed some of my most memorable. And this week's is a doosey.

A throw back from season two, this clip shows the guys moving into their first house together. Their new next door neighbor shows up and wants to welcome them to the neighborhood; along with some advice on respecting his daughters...

Have a great weekend guys.

Season 4 Premier

Now that the writers at Entourage have wrapped up season 3.5 in rousing fashion, it is seemingly time to turn our attention to the grandiose affair which will be the season 4 premier. And lucky for you, I have it in good confidence that this show will be quite different...

An insider source, which only the likes of The Ocho has access to, has informed me that the season for premier, entitled "Welcome to the Jungle," is going to be shot much differently; unlike any episode we have seen thus far in the series run. While tips like this are always lacking some degree of certainty, I believe we can look forward to this episode's format being shot in documentary form, fully equipped with commentary from Ari, to boot.

As is normally the case on Entourage, the newest projects are shot during the downtime between seasons. Here, however, it seems as though the writers are going to give Entourage faithfuls an opportunity to take a peek at the going-ons of the shooting of Medellin. Shot in documentary form, the show will depict some of the commotion and theatre that takes place during production, as well as some of the guy's behind the scene's shenanigans. Needless to say, I believe this premier episode a week from this Sunday should proffer a few new angles to the show, while maintaining the classic Entourage appeal we all love.

Until next time, best wishes from...

The Ocho.

BUPL: Episode 42 - Adios Amigos

Well after much debate, distractions from our day jobs, and an addition of a new judge...we are finally ready to announce this week's BUPL. Now again this is late, but in addition to life's daily obstacles, the reason that this is also late is because this is arguably one of the best episodes in terms of lines maybe in Entourage history.

After much debate, we are happy to announce that this week's BUPL goes to old fan favorite Billy Walsh. Vince and E go to the the porno house to talk to Wash about Medallin. During one of their dialogs, Walsh is pumped to see the boys and explains his current project by saying....
"Wally Balls!? It's my alias..catchy, ain't it? Billy Walsh is gonna bring the 1970's type class back to porn! And, the wide bush!

If this is any indication on how Season 4 is going to go, we are in for a real trip!

Final Standings for Season 3.5:

Billy Walsh: 1
E: 1
Turtle: 1
Nikko: 1
Drama: 0
Vince: 0
Ari: 0

A four way tie...and not one winner for Ari. Shit.

From the Archives: Drama Goes Nicholson on Point Break's Car

As the first of many clips that I plan to bring to you over the near and distant future here at TUEB, I present to you one of Drama's more memorable moments on the show. After being seemingly snuffed at an audition earlier that day, Johnny's a little on edge. Needless to say, "Point Break" picked the wrong out of work actor to mess with on the PCH. The following melee ensues.

On a different note, I would like to point out that, as a fan, I am pretty excited with the direction that Marky Marc and the crew of Entourage has decided to take here for the upcoming new season, starting a week from this Sunday; bringing back Walsh and the selling of the house, in addition to Drama finally getting some credible work has taken the show in a new direction for the moment. I think that this season upcoming for the summer should prove to be extremely entertaining.

That's it for me... for now. Expect some new stuff and of course, "From the Archives" every week, only from The Ocho.

Farewell Season 3.5; Episode 42: Adios Amigos

We'll start in the words of Chris "Mad Dog" Russo...."GOOOOOOD AFTERNOON EVERYBODY!!!!" and the reason that I am using this exciting energy is because last night was indeed one of the best episodes of Entourage I have ever seen, and was truly an exciting way to go out and conclude Season 3.5. Also a gift from God, if you have been reading earlier posts, is that after a harmles By-week coming up, we go full fledge into Season 4, which looks like a promising summer of true entertainment by my Long Island Brothers and their new Spanish "friends."

It was very sad to see the boys packing up their house, (and almost as sad to see that Vince didn't follow through with Nikko's proposition...I guess he was upset that he was invited to play billards with the boys)...anyways back to the house...I think has been the best one they have lived in yet...but even more entertaining to watch them establish their new residences...I got a big kick out of Sloan telling E that his jersey would not fit in her apartment...it looks like however, that she may be making her exit on the show...another good looking girl lost to something Billy Walsh would call "Final Cut."

Johnny Drama showcased his personal best, and what I think a Season High for him, by showcasing great negoiation skills and putting forth what should have easily won the BPL (an another blog that will stay unnamed) with his line "1.5 million" sparking his love for the Viking Kitchen.

Perhaps the biggest kick of the show went down at Billy's filming when the boys were waiting for Walsh's decision on Medallin and a small naked midget was running around...classic!

It will be very interesting to see what turns out to be the BUPL for Week 42, as there were many moments and laughs from the show that defintely deserve review for the weekly award...along with some of the funniest lines of the season...I look forward to checking out Entoruage "Encore" Tuesday night at 11pm....so I can really watch the episode without having to worry about what is going on in the Yankee Game.

Take another 13 days off...but don't stray too far....the making of Medallin and the future of Johnny's show, along wth E's future as a producer and Turtle's daily happenings....should make for an excellent summer to aid us in keeping to "Live the Dream."

We await for the BUPL to be posted tomorrow p.m.

Episode 41: BUPL

Well my dear friends, the votes are in counted for...and after a very debatable day of discussion on trying to decide what the line should have been, the tribe has spoken. In an episode where we found more BPLs than BUPLs (but that is not what the purpose of this blog is) we have decided to go with the last line of the show...a line that left me cracking up so much that I can't even tell you what the closing soundtrak was....we are awarding this week's BUPL to Nikko. After he awards Vince his check during dessert time, the gentelmen move into the next room for some drinks and billiards. Nikko asks Vince to hang back for a minute and tells him how he knows all about the events that took place earlier with his wife...and how his wife always gets what she wants no matter the cost. Nikko then tells Vince, "If you want this check to clear, you will go upstairs and fuck my wife like the superstar you are, while I stay down here and play billiards with your friends." Even though we are figuring that this situation is likely not to go down, we still thought it was BUPL Worthy.

And that my friends is what takes the cake for Episode 41 for this week's BUPL honors.

Standings so far with 2 weeks to go in Season 3.5, which does not air for 2 weeks:

E: 1
Turtle: 1
Nikko: 1
Drama: 0
Vince: 0
Ari: 0

Episode 40 BUPL

Let me just first apologize for the delay in posting this week's BUPL. I guess you could say the delay was like making of Medellin, just when you thought it wasn't going to happen...I comes back out of nowhere. This week's BUPL has to go to Turtle. He was like a kid in a candy store or Drama at an asian massage parlor in this episode. He returned from Rufus's shop and is so excited about the prospects of dating Kelly tells the fellas "I can't wait for you guys to meet her...she's like me with Tits!" Great line!! This means that the one liner king, Johnny Drama, is still scoreless in the BUPL standings:

Drama 0
E 1
Turtle 1
Ari 0
Vince 0

Episode 40: The Resurrection

Well...I have to hand it to the writers of the show again for another evening of pure entertainment. Although I thought it would be tough for the show to rebound from the loss of Amanda...and it still is...I was extremely pleased with the way the show unfolded with Vince maybe finally returning to work and Turtle finding 2 people to date....Kelly and Rufus.....

As predicted in this space before...Five Towns is a HIT! It was also good to see Drama's pilot come to life on the big screen. No big surprise here that the NY Post couldn't recognize true talent.....they are more known for their news in the sports pages....which usually overshadows the fact that the paper is mainly used for a decent dropcloth for painting.... I can relate with Drama about the reviews...critics can be harsh....but all ya gotta do is believe in your product (which is what got me through 4+ glorious years in radio broadcasting). Anybody else interested in where that massage shop is located?

Ari is back in the mix (a worse kept secret that was even worse then the secret of Roger Clemmens returning to the Yankees) and E is going to be a producer (I am interested in the movie that he is producing)...all in all, these new plots should make for many more shows on the rise....It was good to see how HBO is planning to show Entourage on June 17th....hinting that viewings may outlast the Soprano's.....or maybe that is a new season? It must be nice to control your own network and do whatever the hell you want.

Gotta love Turtle's mix of sly words with Rufus....I will be pumped to see Kelly and Turtle (and Rufus) thomping around with their kicks together...Hopefully Turtle's sneaker frenzy dates won't cost Vince major dollars in Kicks like last time......

Overall, though....the restoration of Drama's car takes the cake this week...and wins the award for the best car on the show in 3.5 seasons...they gotta bring that back to the general public's market....Turtle pulling a Drama and cracking up the car after it was all shined up the first time deserves a good laugh too.....

The Grand Canyon wins new respect from this southern CT'er (and homegrown LI Boy) as a solid landmark worth visiting....

Stay tuned for this week's BUPL....The "Entourage" will be tallying their votes and making an announcement soon.....

Props to the Queens Boys Again!

Well...I just want to give Big Props to my Long Island Brothers (yes Queens is part of Long Island) for some truly outstanding entertainment this week. The thing I love about these Queens boys is that they truly support the Yankees and not the Mets...(maybe they didn't know that there was a professional team in Flushing)....or maybe they just want to bring a Champion team to a Champion show....(I'm not sure if I get a bigger kick out of them giving the Mets the screwgy or seeing my friends who are Mets fans get all steamed up over it). But the Yanks analogy is perfect...After all, its not like Vince can't go out and purchase his own "Roger Clemmens" or get with some true hotties. Props goes out to my man Turtle for sporting Jeter's number 2 jersey from the All-Star game...better than that Knicks gear that he's been sporting throughout the past 3.5 seasons. (BTW HBO....you are royally screwing up my summer TV schedule with this split season crap!)

It was sad to see Vince fail at achieving success with work and sex with the same person...especially since it was Amanda....but hey, not even Mariano Rivera gets the save all the time. In agreeing with Steve-o, hopefully this isn't the end of Amanda, and gets used in some "riskay" story lines somewhere in the upcoming episodes. If she's out...and Ari wins...then I think its fair to deem him some sort of God......back to reality......But its probably reasons like this why each female friend of mine keeps telling me "she hates/or can't get into the show." (ok ok, 3 out 4 girls tell me this.....we'll keep things politically correct for now) This so called "Male Soap Opera" is just a taste of a girl's own medicine, for making us guys suffer through stories and commericals of Days of Our Lives, General Hospital, and the rest of that crap on Lifetime. At least Entourage provides some useful lessons for life...I mean hey, "a lifestyle is a terrible thing to waste"........and "maybe you can have it all!"

Props fellas....lets keep ballin'. Get Fired up for FIVE TOWNS!

Episode 39 BUPL - "A day at the races"

This episode was a great rebound from a mediocre episode the week prior. I am not sure if I enjoyed the fact that the boys of entourage spent the day at the track or the fact that Ari had two cell phones hidden away so he could do business on the holiest day of the year! I like Ari, however, I am upset that this may be the last time we see Amanda on the show.

I think that the BUPL came when the boys of Entourage were at the track waiting to see Drama's horse race. E responds to Drama's comment about the horse's stature by saying "Do you want to win money on him or F#$% him Drama." This quote has my vote for BUPL of the week.

P.S. This is the first week of the blog so I promise it will get better!!

The ulimate blog for true entourage fans

This is the first blog for the true viewers of Entourage! In a effort to make this the most viewed blog in the world, I introduce to you the BUPL! The Best Unprintable Line (BUPL) is "partly" stolen I must admit, however is sure to be better than the BPL (Best Printable Line) that I have been reading for the past few weeks. As I am sure you know, Entourage is not PG and therefore this blog will carry no such rating! Let's try and keep it classly though. The BUPL will be posted here every week after the show and will be the best one liner whether printable or not. Every week please feel free to post your picks for the BUPL.
